Hironobu Kageyama debuted as "Michell", the lead singer for LAZY, a rock band that burst onto the Japanese rock scene in 1977. They performed many beloved songs, including "Akazukin Chan Goyoujin" and "DREAMER". After moving to Nippon Columbia in 1985, Hironobu Kageyama began performing anime and tokusatsu theme songs. Fan favorites like "Cha-La Head-Cha-La", the theme song for the Dragon Ball Z anime that aired on Fuji TV, and "Saint Shinwa ~Soldier Dream~", the theme song for the Saint Seiya anime that aired on TV Asahi, established him as one of the true greats in the world of anime theme songs. Presently, he works as an anime song artist, writing, arranging, and producing songs for various projects. He is also the leader of JAM Project, an anime song band famous across the globe!
